Pam has painted from early childhood. A gifted art teacher in Elementary school in England helped her to discover the joy of imaginative ways to paint. She also grew up in a creative home environment where she was encouraged to use her artistic gifts. She has studied and taken courses with the Churchill School of Art, the Victoria School of Art and also with some local artists. Over the years through the mediums of pen and ink, watercolours, acrylics, oils and recently photography this artist has explored many ways of developing her personal style.
She enjoys being an avid west coast en plein air artist by taking the opportunities to paint outdoors and utilize her photography gifts in most weathers. Painting is an adventure for Pam. Capturing the ever changing light rays and colours lead this artist on a creative journey that brings forth realism, yet develops an impressionistic style.
